CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR VISITORS
Dear Visitor,
Our company collects data within the scope of personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), for the purpose of ensuring security in our factory and administrative buildings and physical premises, legal, technical, and commercial occupational safety, via closed-circuit camera systems (CCTV), monitoring through firewall and digital recording systems, guest entry-exit logging and guest internet services.
Our company acts in compliance with the Constitution and the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data in the processing and preservation of your personal data and takes the highest level of security measures to ensure the protection of your personal data. With this text, we aim to fulfill our obligation to inform you in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the purposes, legal bases, and your rights regarding the processing of your personal data. Accordingly, individuals whose personal data is collected are informed through the texts posted in our company premises or made accessible to visitors in other ways.
This text includes the following:
Identity Information: Refers to the Name and Surname provided by the visitor,
Visual Data: Refers to the image data automatically processed by cameras,
License Plate Data: Refers to the data provided by the visitor or obtained via camera at vehicle entrances.
1. Data Controller
In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law"), your personal data will be processed by SANCAK ETİKET Matbaa Ambalaj İnşaat San ve Tic. A.Ş. (“Company”) as the data controller, as explained below and within the limits defined by the legislation.
2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed by SANCAK ETİKET, as the data controller, for the purposes of ensuring security in the company building and physical premises, monitoring via security cameras, processing the identity information of guests and contractors (name and surname, tracking of vehicles belonging to guests and contractors), organization/firm information, entry and exit details (entry-exit dates and times). Your personal data will be processed in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the purposes of ensuring the security of our technical facilities and premises, managing access records, providing internet access to visitors, and fulfilling our legal obligations.
3. Parties to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred and Purpose of Transfer
Your processed personal data may be transferred to our business partners, subsidiaries, affiliated group companies, legally authorized public institutions and private individuals for the purpose of managing access records, fulfilling our legal obligations, and ensuring the security of our company premises, in accordance with the conditions and purposes stated in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.
4. Retention Period of Personal Data
Your personal data will be retained for 6 (six) months for the purposes mentioned above. After this period, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, and/or anonymized by SANCAK ETİKET in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data and relevant regulations or upon your request.
5. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
SANCAK ETİKET collects data via CCTV recording, entry card issuance, and identity registration in order to ensure security and operational integrity in company buildings and premises. This is done within the framework of the data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
Additionally, if the visitor wishes to use SANCAK ETİKET’s internet network, data will be collected to ensure and monitor the security of this service.
These data are collected verbally, via camera footage, electronically, digitally, and through technical means automatically or non-automatically in accordance with the Law and are processed based on the legal grounds and purposes set out in Articles 2 and 3 of this text.
The camera surveillance and recording activities carried out by SANCAK ETİKET are based on the legal grounds of the Law No. 5188 on Private Security Services and its implementation regulation, and on the legitimate interests of the Company.
SANCAK ETİKET conducts camera surveillance activities in accordance with the objectives set forth in the applicable legislation and the conditions specified in the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.
6. Rights of the Data Subject Under Article 11 of the Law
In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in line with that purpose; know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction of data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed; request deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring its processing are no longer valid; request notification of such actions to third parties to whom the data has been transferred; object to any result arising against you from analysis by automated systems; and request compensation for any damage caused by unlawful processing. All of these rights are subject to our Company’s rights arising from legislation and this form.
We reserve the right to reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, threaten the privacy of others, or are otherwise extremely impractical.
To exercise your rights, please fill out the form available at www.sancaketiket.com and deliver a signed hard copy via notary, by hand, or by registered mail to NOSAB Meşe Cad No:24 Nilüfer / BURSA. Alternatively, you may send the signed form via secure electronic signature to info@sancaketiket.com using your registered email address or submit it via software or application specifically developed for the purpose. Applications must be made in Turkish.
